IDFC Power plus is a great card for fuel spends plus it gives cashback on utility as well.
I have 2 cards in my home, one in my name and one on my mothers name.

It also depends on which fuel station is near you or you prefer which fuel station to refuel your vehicles.
Me and my family prefers HPCL anyday, that's the reason I have IDFC Power Plus card.

not able to apply IDFC Power plus card as when i go to their website to apply it shows only cards recommended

ohhhh...if that's the case, then apply for the recommended card first after using that for a while go for IDFC Power plus.
I know some people they got the IDFC FIRST Select card in the beginning, then after 2-3 months they applied for IDFC through website and it got approved.
In some cases you get pre-approved offer also if you are using some LTF card with IDFC bank.
First you have to make sure that the fuel pump near your place reedems the cc reward points. For whichever card you take if you can't reedem it via fuel then it's not good
My case i have took a SBI BPCL OCTANE card but, if i need to reedem the points my nearest BPCL pump doesn't have the reedeming facility. So i need to go 18 kms to reedem my rewards
Now i have applied for RBL Indian oil Xtra card since i have fuel station that redeems points within 200 metre
