Start sip in any flexi cap like paragh parikh or hdfc.
Once u read and gain some knowledge u can divesify to more funds.as shavirB has mentioned watch the bekifaayati video.

It is good that you want to start a sip. Without knowing your goal, risk taking ability, and how long do you want to stay invested, it not good to give advice to buy any mutual fund.

Before doing any random SIP, set a goal and understand risk behind it. Goals are like Retirement/Child Education/Vacation etc.

Nearest goal needs higher amount of money for SIP and longer goal needs low amount like 1000/Month.

Adjust goal's current cost and future cost with inflation.

By the here are few fund which we like 1) Parag Parekh and HDFC Flexi cap 2) Nippon and SBI small cap 3) HDFC Mid Cap

I don't agree. I think everyone should develop habit of saving. When it comes to investing there should be a goal for it. And habit of investing build overtime whether you have any goal or not. If you don't give any purpose of your investing/money, it can goes wrong like loss due to untimed withdrawal.

If you cleared the exam of NISM VA for Mutual Fund, then you definite read in the 1st chapter that (The discussion of investments must start with the purpose of investment. “Why is one investing?"). After identify multiple goals, he/she has to prioritize goal on the basis of “responsibilities” and “good-to-have” goals.

Dekho ji agar tussi pehle hi small cap sips chh invested ho toh fir koi jarurat nhi small cap vichh invest karan di...

Aaj Kal Opportunities fund, defence industry related fund bhi hai jo ache returns de rhe hai...so current portfolio batao ..toh badiya jawab milega
