It should third party insurance
It should cover engine and cost of consumables
Road side assistance
Consider the company whose claim settlement ratio is good (the higher is the better).

Buying a new car policy follow these steps:

Hi, I have an renault Kiger, its first year insurance is getting expired on April 12,2025.
Currently I have insurance from Magma General Insurance Ltd. I had discussion Magma team, they have give an quotation of 19665/- for renewal.

TATA AIG, SBI, HDFC, ICICI, NEW INDIA, OREINTAL all have good claim settlement ratios, but they have higher premiums with fewer add-ons in comparison to ACKO, Digit insurance.

Better to check and compare everything in one place at the policybazaar or insurancedekho portal for best deal.
