CIBIT Score dropped on delay of 1 CC payment

I’ve been using credit cards for 8.5 years and have built an excellent credit score over time.

Recently, however, I missed a payment of INR 542/- on my SBI credit card by just 3 days, and my credit score dropped by around 40 points.

The CIBIL report on GPay reflects only this one delayed payment in my entire credit and loan history.

Is there any way to resolve this and restore my CIBIL score?

Banks usually gives grace period of 3 days post due date.
So, if you paid within the grace period then it should be fine, as in should not report as delayed payment.

Try to talk to sbi helpdesk and get the information on marking the delay, and tell them about the RBI rule of 3 days Grace period, requesting them to remove any negative remarks.
