Convert PAYTM SBI Card visa to rupay

Its been 2month i got paytm sbi visa credit card, and wanted to convert it to rupay varient, customer support always says no offer for you, is their any other process?

Try asking to close it and then apply. if they ask about what's the problem just tell them that want to convert into rupay one

Taking rupay cards would be good as you can link it to UPI and has several benefits.

Yes, but if i close this visa varient and apply for rupay varient and application gets rejected, that wouldn't be good right?

First apply for a rupay credit card , if you get it , then close the visa one , or ask your bank to change your card from visa to rupay , this is allowed as per the new RBI guidelines, by this , you will be saved

Their is no option to apply for Paytm Rupay card, I think need to wait for change varient option

I am also holding SBI Paytm Visa Card I am also facing the same issue there is a no solution till now better apply separate rupay card and close the Paytm visa card... also I am holding total three card of SBI that is a one of the reason of not getting SBI spirit cashback card?
