Credit card with annual fee

Why I got approved credit card with annual fee. But my application of LTF credit card got rejected.

More details required to understand but the simplest reason seems that the bank wants paying customers and not ltf ones.

Now the banks are not providing LTF cards easily and focusing more and more on those customers who are willing to pay annual fees. Until and unless you have a good history with that bank, not possible to get Lifetime free cards easily.

People are taking LTF cards and agents a pushing LTF cards to meet their target.
And people like me take LTF cards and never use them so the bank is not making any money from me.

On the flip side except for a very few LTF cards most of the LTF cards have a very low reward rate.
Better take card with fees that give high return on spend.
