Flipkart Axis Bank credit card Application

Recently I applied for Flipkart Axis Bank credit card.
I got message like...
Thank you for applying for an Axis Bank Credit Card. Our executive will connect with you to fulfill KYC requirements of your residential address.
Someone called , they want me to come for biometric authentication. For Flipkart Axis Bank credit card , which I applied for.
Is this really genuine or they are fraud persons.

Actually the same thing happened with me as well.
After 4-5 days a executive from Axis Bank will contact you.
Then He/She will fill the complete application on your behalf, do the Biometric scan and then you have to wait for 3-4 more days for the application to process.
Unfortunately, in my case the application was rejected.
Some of the banks are worst when it comes to give a proper reason for the rejection.
Axis Bank is one of those Banks.
The executive said that if you already have a Bank account or fd backed Credit Card with Axis Bank then this step will not occur.
