HDFC Bank CC KYC

Hello folks,

I recently applied for Tata neu Infinity CC for LTF offer few days after I got a WhatsApp message from SahiBnk Mitra to complete KYC from them inorder to complete CC Application.

I just wanted to know if SahiBnk Mitra is a credible source or subsidiary of HDFC Bank, responsible in Handling KYC?.
Is it secure to proceed with SahiBnk for KYC.

Please let me know if anybody has gone through this or has knowledge on this, kindly advise

if you have account with hdfc they wont ask you any kyc only bank netbanking or debit card authorization. if you dont have account during application only they will provide video kyc step. There is no SahiBnk Mitra i never seen such that too in whatsapp means its fake. if you didnt done vkyc you directly contact customer care they will provide email link to do vkyc

Thanks for clarifying that, I don't have account in HDFC, I was offered VKYC but due to some mismatch it didn't got approved. Later I submitted another application with KYC to happen at door step. At that point this SahiBnk came into picture.

if they send agent to home you can do dont share any documents through whatsapp they may missue it

Sahibank is usually safe as I have done kyc with them for HDFC and Axis bank credit cards.
But whatsapp message in not safe, double check it and only then take step.
You can ask the person to come home, check the ID card, should be from the bank and you will receive the details like number, name of the person coming for kyc, only then give details to them.

Last time my VKYC for ICICI Credit Card didn't succeed, so they sent Sahi Bank Mitra agent for Physical KYC. Aadhaar number and fingerprint only.
However, Card got rejected due to my CIBIL issue.
