[HDFC] Limit instantly doubled from 1.81L to 3.62L after taking a pre-approved RuPay card on PayZapp. Glitch or silent LE?

Hey everyone, I need some help understanding what just happened with my HDFC credit card limits today.

My setup before today:

Primary Card: HDFC Giga Business

Other Cards: 2 floater cards sharing the same limit

Total Shared Limit: ₹1,81,000

Note: I did not have any pre-approved Limit Enhancement (LE) offers showing on my account.

What happened today:

I was casually scrolling through PayZapp and saw a banner for a pre-approved UPI RuPay credit card. Out of curiosity, I manually clicked "check eligibility."

It showed that I was eligible and mentioned the card would share the limit with my primary card. However, the limit displayed was ₹3,62,000 (exactly double my existing limit).

I went ahead and accepted the offer. Now, my primary Giga Business card, the new RuPay card, and all my old floater cards are showing a combined shared limit of 3,62,000!

My questions for the community:

1 Since I had no prior LE offers, did applying for the RuPay card trigger a "silent" limit increase in the backend?

2 Could this just be a known PayZapp/HDFC display glitch where the system accidentally added my old limit twice (1.81L + 1.81L)?

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Should celebrate the 2X increase or call customer care to fix a glitch? Thanks!
