I was just looking a rupay credit card from hdfc and found something unique
.hdfc shoppers stop is a ltf card ( at some places it is mentioned that they have levied a fees of 299 + gst from 1 March 2024, although on hdfc bank site, it is written ltf)
It is paying 2 points of every 150 spend
And 6 points on every 150 spend on shoppers stop
1 point= 0.6
Hence on normal spend it provides 0.8%
And on shoppers stop it provides 2.5%
On the other hand hdfc rupay UPI comes with an annual fees of 250 plus gst ( waived on spending on 25k in a year). However benefits of this card is:
Even if we spend in dining, grocery, max we can get is 0.75 per 100.
I do feel hdfc rupay UPI is a useless card in front of hdfc shoppers stop rupay credit card.
Any views, if I am missing out anything
