How can I get an unsecured lifetime free credit card?

Currently, my CIBIL Score is 770. I want to have a lifetime free credit card but it should not be requiring any FD. Wherever I try to apply for a credit card, I am asked to create FD.

Could someone please tell me how can I get a lifetime free credit card without creating any FD? and without any income proof?

That’s a challenging situation. Some YouTube content creators have misled us by claiming that we need a CIBIL score to obtain credit, and they suggest that opening pay-later services will help establish a CIBIL score. Well, it did but it will not help us in getting a credit card.

It turns out that a more effective way to obtain a credit card is through fixed deposits (FDs) or by having a savings account with the banks that offer credit card.

We made the same blunder by opening Flipkart Pay Later, assuming that having it issued by IDFC would automatically qualify us for an IDFC credit card. However, our hopes were dashed when IDFC rejected our application. Instead, they recommended the IDFC WOW card, which is FD-based.

Yes, 100% but it will take months before they approve the unsecured card. I guess after 6months you can try applying for other unsecured cards.

Then go for flipkart axis credit card or Amazon ICICI CARD...You can get either of these easily you are a regular user on these platforms

It doesn't happen that way...you cannot withdraw your FD money

Based on ur situation i can tell that HDFC can solve ur issue .... But instead of having an FD, u need to create transactions in ur passbook.. a min of 5 for a period of 6 months...

My personal hack for this is 1. ask ur frnds to send money & then u send them back .... & 2. Do all ur UPI transactions on hdfc account

Then u will get offer of credit card in ur net banking & then click to apply

By December 2023 I didn't had any credit card. I had cibil 781 I took wow credit card for Rs 35000. Applied for SBI, axis ,ICICI, kotak ( aubank where I had savings account) all rejected my application. My cibil came down to 735 because of hard enquiry.So somewhere saw kotak advertisement of opening 811 zero balance account with instant 3 step credit card approval. Applied got 1st unsecured credit card before saving account generated. After 15 days got kotak rupay UPI credit card my 2 nd unsecured credit card. kotak Mahindra Bank is the best bank . Izzat rakhi Bhai meri .

Apply for icici bank amazon pay card from amazon app or flipkart axis bank card from flipkart app currently bank are providing unsecured cards because of march ending

Check cibil in kotak app they will give pre approved offers otherwise take idfc backed Wow credit card. Create minimum rs 50000 fd so next card will give decent limit .idfc reported my wow card as unsecured in cibil which made easy for me to get kotak credit cards within 2 months .

Build a credit score with a secured credit card and then go for cobranded credit cards or hold a savings account with a commercial bank for more than two years you surely will get a LTF credit card. Also apply right now financial closing is a great time to get credit cards.

NO need for secured card when we can go for cobranded cards or the cards used in Ecommerce platforms like AMAZON ICICI or FLIPKART AXIS/ AIRTEL AXIS or even the basic one ICICI PLATINUM. Its given to almost everyone even without any prior card.
GO for ONE CARD too...it can be given to you if you have go credit score.
