How to do STP?

Select the two mutual fund schemes that will be involved in the STP process. The money is transferred from one scheme into the other. Typically, the source scheme is a liquid mutual fund, which provides stable returns at low risk.

Thank you for the reply. I have a SIP in Nippon India small cap fund, for doing STP I need to invest in Nippon India liquid direct growth fund? If so then what should be the next step?

Moving some amount to a liquid fund reduces overall portfolio risk. Liquid funds provide high liquidity, meaning you can easily access your funds when needed historically they have provided better returns compared to savings accounts.
If you want to do STP then firstly Determine the amount you want to transfer in each installment. then Submit an STP form with your details, including the source fund, destination fund, frequency, and amount and then Keep an eye on your investments and adjust your STP if needed based on market conditions or your financial goals .

Yes you can do STP from Groww. Here are the brief steps

1) Select the source fund from which you want to transfer your money. You can do this by clicking on the three dots and selecting ” Start STP” from the drop-down list. The destination Fund has to mandatorily be from the same AMC.

2) Next you select the Destination Fund (Fund from where you will get regular monthly income)

3) You need to enter monthly transfer amount and time after which you want this STP to start.
