- Firstly you’ll need to carry a few documents to the nearest Public Distribution System (PDS) or Ration Shop. The Documents you’ll need to carry are - Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Bank Passbook, Passport Size Photo.
- Once you submit the documents, the officials will ask for the fingerprints for authentication purposes.
- Upon successful verification, you’d be notified via both SMS and Email
How can the Linking be done Online?
- Firstly you’ll need to visit the online portal of your state’s Public Distribution System (PDS)
- You’ll clearly see the option to Enable Aadhar Ration Card linking, click on that
- Enter your Aadhar Card, followed by Ration Card Number.
- You’ll also need to enter your Registered Mobile Number. Make sure your same number is linked to Aadhar.
- In the next step you’ll be asked to verify the Number by OTP. Enter the OTP received on SMS
- In the last step, you’ll receive the SMS once the verification is complete.
