HSBC CREDIT CARD APPLICATION AN CIVIL ENQUIRY

Hello everyone,

I have recently applied for HSBC credit card on 19th November. On same day immediately after completing my application one CIBIL enquiry was performed. After 2 day, on 21st November one more CIBIL enquiry was performed by HSBC Bank for same product. Is it normal? I don't think so. I mailed HSBC for this. But no reply from their side or any acknowledgement mail. What can I do else? Suggest me please.

That is not normal. Please reach out to HSBC again and wait for their response. If they do not respond within 30 days, you can register a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman.

HDFC conducted three credit inquiries for one application, and when I complained to customer support, they said it couldn't be removed. However, after filing a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman, they removed two inquiries and provided a ₹1,000 Amazon gift voucher as compensation.

Thank You for your response.

In my case, I raised dispute with CIBIL, because I have purchased the membership of CIBIL. After 3 days my enquiry of 21St November was not in th list. Means they removed it.
