Increase in minimum MAB (monthly average balance) from 1st May 2025

From May 1st, 2025, several banks have implemented changes to their minimum balance requirements and ATM transaction fees. Please check with your bank for details. Also it should be made mandatory for banks to disseminate this information by duly sending emails to all concerned customers. This would avoid a situation where penalties are suddenly imposed upon unsuspecting customers in passbook updates.
