Yes, you can apply in both the HNI and Retail categories with the same PAN, but your IPO application will be the first to get rejected at the time of allotment. Therefore, it’s advisable to apply only in one category(Retail, Small HNI or Big HNI) from one brokerage app/ASBA for a single IPO. However, you can apply in the shareholder's quota if eligible, along with any one of the categories (Retail, Small HNI, or Big HNI).
