With in a big family we do have common expenses like electricity bills, fuel, rents, groceries, any other expenses for the wntire family. The idea is to split among two nuclear families with in a big family. I tried phonepay and google pay family circle... it adds one step to ask for approval to primary account during payment. Is there any way where 5 6 people can use this account while paying UPI trnasactions for jus familily needs. Even a credit card works...

Add on CCs (Visa/Master)Each member gets a card, all spend from one limitEasy tracking, flexible, no approvalsCredit card only, not UPI
Add on Rupay CCEach member gets a card, all spend from one limit; each can link their card to their own UPI app(T&C)Seamless, independent UPI merchant payments; easy tracking; no approvals neededUPI payments only for merchants, not P2P
UPI Family CircleRequires approval for each paymentUPI convenienceApproval step is required

For maximum convenience and seamless shared spending, add-on/floater credit cards are the best solution for Indian families right now. Each member can pay independently, and you get a single bill to split at month-end. For UPI, there is currently no fully independent multi-user option without approval steps except Rupay CCs(only for P2M UPI transactions)

Note: When applying for add-on RuPay cards, confirm with your bank that each cardholder can link their card to their own UPI app using their registered mobile number. No major Indian bank currently offers 6 add-on credit cards per primary card. Most banks allow a maximum of 2 to 4 add-on cards. So you have to get atleast 2 Primary CCs from 2 different banks for getting 5-6 add-on CCs.
