I am an govt employee and I chooses new tax slab as in old one I have to pay approx 15000 more but now this financial year 2024-25 I applied for home loan then can I able to choose or change from new to old tax regime as due to home loan interest old tax regime will be better than new one

I think option once given for New Tax Slabs can't be changed.
 
Yes, you can choose the old scheme while filing return to avail the interest benefit of up to 2 lakhs and 1.5 lakhs for principal repayment under Section 80C. However, considering the current government's tendency, the old scheme might be removed at any time, and the new regime could become the default. So, please consider this point carefully before taking the loan.
