As per the latest RBI directives, Kotak has been banned from onboarding new customers both for Credit Card and Savings/ Current Account. But in case you had applied for a Credit Card before this Ban, you can still get your Credit Card and can use it normally. RBI has asked the Kotak Bank to service its existing customers normally.
So how can you track your application status?
There are 2 ways to track your application - Offline and Online. In this post we’ll discuss both methods.
Online Method
For this you’ll need to visit the track application page under the transaction services tab. The link for the same is : ***********.kotak.com/en/transaction-services/track-application.html
Once you visit this page, you’ll notice the below screen
You’ll need to select Credit Card from the dropdown menu in the “Select The Product” Column.
Once you select “Credit Card”, the Bank will ask you to choose the identifier - meaning some ID to track your application. Options include- Application Form Number, Form Number and Mobile Number + Date of Birth. You can find Application Number on your registered email ID/ Phone number.
Once you select a suitable “Identifier” and enter the relevant details you’ll need to click on the “Submit” button..
As soon as you click on the Submit Button you’ll get one of these results - In Progress, Approved, Dispatched, Rejected, Not Found.
In case this doesn’t work out, you can always try Offline Methods.
You can get in touch with Kotak’s Customer Care @ 1860-266-2666. This is a Toll Free Number which is available 24x7. Please note that you’ll need details of your Application Form Number and Form Number for this method to work.
Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Branch and get in touch with the authorized person at the Branch. Even the folks at Branch will ask you for either Application Form Number or Form Number to be able to trace your application. If your CRN (Customer Relationship Number) has been created, they’ll be able to track your application by just your Name and DOB.
