Lump Sum Mutual Funds Investment Ideas or Strategy

I wanted to start investing lump sum amounts in mutual funds. What might be the best funds? If someone has the idea how to track the market to get best returns from possible mutual funds

If you want to do lump sum than whenever market go down buy it. If you want best and safest return than do investment in index fund. In index fund you can also do SIP.

I want to ask that can I invest in mutual fund,like we invest in stocks.When we get profit we exit.Then if it's low we reinvest
