I have resigned my job last year on July(2024) I was employed for almost 2 years. Now I am unemployed so i have decided to withdraw my PF amount but when I mailed the HR team they are claiming that their PF Trust have Surrendered to EPFO. PF Trust operations have frozen effective 1st Jan 2025 as per EPFO order(Unexempted establishment). We are in process of transferring our funds to EPFO. To complete PF Trust surrender process, it will take 10 to 12 months' time to display of PF balance in EPFO UAN portal.
but i need the money as its an emergency.
Is there any way other than waiting for 12 months????
PLEASE HELP.
I have attached the mail too.

Get in touch with EPFO helpline and take action accordingly.

My last organization was also a Trust (Tax exempted trust which handles all its employees' account itself)

Maybe due to some irregularities or due diligence in compliance, the EPFO office froze their accounts and removed TRUST privilege benefits as well. I think your organization is giving a lame excuse for a 1-year transition period.

Get in touch with pf helpdesk.

Thanks

I wrote a grievance to epfo portal 2 weeks back but since then it shows "CASE UNDER PROCESS"
What to do now?

To escalate an EPFO grievance, you can follow these steps:

- *Contact Regional Office*: Reach out to the Grievance Redressal Officer at your regional EPFO office for assistance.
- *Use EPF Customer Care*: Contact EPF Customer Care for further guidance and support.
- *Track Status Online*: Keep track of your grievance status through the EPFO portal or the EPF i-Grievance Management System (EPFiGMS).

The EPFO aims to resolve grievances within *30 business days*. You can also escalate the issue to a higher authority if you're not satisfied with the resolution.

Additionally, you can:

- *Call the Toll-Free Number*: Reach out to the EPFO helpline at 1800-118-005 for assistance.
- *Email Your Concerns*: Send an email to mailto:public-grev@epfindia.gov.in for EPF-related grievances or mailto:employley@epfindia.gov.in for employer-related issues.

If the issue is not resolved even after taking the complaint to EPFO then you can finally lodge your request through the CPGRAMS portal.
