If you do not have any income source (I am assuming as you are student), then getting unsecured card would be difficult. Look for any secured LTF card which will build your credit score as well.

As now you are a student so your first priority should be a free credit card or a card that's benefits greater than the charge.
And you should calculate your expenses too so you know the cashback you are going to find.
My suggestion for you are-
1.canara bank gold emv card
2.super money super card(fd backed)
3.airtel axis bank credit card
4.one card
I don't think as your first card you gonna get a unsecured credit card so you have get a fd backed credit card.

I am also, so while I applying my first credit card I got rejected because I don't had cibil score that time. So I applied for IDFC First Wow credit as it's lifetime free and FD based credit card, with help of this credit I have built my credit score and then I applied The first Unsecured Credit card and guess what..?
I got mail from the that my credit card application is approved
The I was applied that is flipkart axis credit card and applied from Flipkart Application only.
So I suggest you for getting first credit is only important don't worry about which credit do you want or do you apply... just apply for first Secured card. For Best Secured Card you can check out bekifaayati.co or bekifaayati youtube channel.

IDFC FIRST BANK WOW CREDIT CARD can be good option according to me.
