NOC procedure and cost involved to bring car or bike from a state to another?

Hi folks,
I have moved from Bangalore to pune since 2022. I brought my scooter also with me of KA registration. Couple of time got caught by police and asked for NOC.
I have my father-in-law’s car with me of UP registration. Its registration year is ending by October 2025. Do I have to take NOC from RTO in UP or KA?
Can anybody explain the process of taking NOC? Once applied for NOC, do we have to pay tax in pune and register it in Pune RTO for scooter? Whether the number will change?

Yes,Yes. . It's registeration life is ending so you have to get registration extension also

Registration life is ending for UP WagonR but KA scooter registration is new. It is not ending.
