Iam sorry this post is not exactly relevant to car insurance. This is related to annual service of car done every 10000 kms.
I got my Maruti Alto car serviced after 3 years or 30000 kms service. They charged me Rs. 6800 which I felt was bit high compared to last paid service of 20000 kms where I paid around Rs.5000.
As per invoice , They did everything similar to last service, but this time they added Multivalve/ Gas Tank Cleaning and Diagnostic charges which together came to around Rs. 1750.
When I enquired if this was necessary, They said it is compulsory since my car is getting older. Also, they did not top up brake fluid, coolant and replace spark plug during this service. They said it is not required.
