My parents who are now senior citizens had to raise a loan against PPF and tried getting clarification about the interest that they think should be paid for the balance after the amount raised as a loan. Looks like the banks have no clue about whether that happens or should happen or not.

Ask full details to bank in written application and if bank not answer properly than filled complaint against bank on RBI site in grievances option. Bank will be response to you instantly.
