Same fund category in your portfolio.

It is often said that we should not be having same category funds in our portfolio. But can we have more than 1 flexicap fund in our portfolio for diversification or different golas?

Since your objective is diversification, I don't think adding a different Flexi Cap Fund is going to help achieve that objective. Why not add funds from some other category?
