SBI cashback credit card flight booking

Can anyone please confirm, shall we get 5% cashback on flight bookings made through SBI cashback credit card? As I have read the terms and conditions, there is nothing mentioned in the exclusion table about flight booking merchants or MCCs. There is exclusion for railway ticket bookings but nothing mentioned for flight bookings.

Although I have made a booking of 12000 today.

Yup you do get 5% CB for tickets booked online with SBI CB CC.

MCC category decided by application or website so there is no guarantee will get cashback or not. many time i didn't get cashback for my Amazon/Flipkart purchase also. its all depends payments MCC

Same here, my one transection on flipkart I have mailed customer care they are saying that MCC is for educational institutions, and another one is flipkart flight booking and they are saying it on railway booking.
Anyone have any idea how to get this cashback or what to do, should I stop using for flipkart?

for every spending MCC code is different as Amazon/Flipkart or any website or apps doing payment for multiple vendors so that vendor can have different MCC codes so there is no guarantee of getting cashback every time. this is observed by me from last 2 years. i asked many time on call or mails now got to know everything about it by one of smart senior customer care representative. This is how sbi cashback card work. i made 30k payment but as that vendor mcc code is not online shopping category i didn't received any cashback & by searching for why get all this details of this. During online payment on flipkart/amazon if vendor don't have online shopping category MCC then u will not get cashback. Used credit card who is giving cashback for that site not category is only options if u want 100% sure cashback. now i am planning to follow that strategy and getting that type of credit card and closing sib cashback credit card.
