I'm using 2 credit cards Amazon ICICI credit card & IDFC millennial.

Today I recieved a call from a lady stating that I'm eligible for a pre-approved SBI rupay credit card.
After discussing about all the features when I proceeded, she already have all my information including my (PAN card details) I don't know how's this possible I never had disclosed my PAN no. anywhere except offical Bank websites.

How they have that??
Is it risky, & what to do to safeguard my PAN??

You're right! It's essential to be aware of potential scams, especially when it comes to personal data and financial matters. As you said, no one should be able to access your bank or personal information without your consent. It’s always good practice to stay vigilant—never share sensitive details over the phone unless you're sure of the caller's identity, and always double-check with your bank directly for any unusual activity. Avoiding spam calls is a smart move! How do you typically deal with suspicious calls or messages?

It's common. Banks share data with third party agents
