Standard Chartered NRI Priority Bank Account

Hi Guys,
I am already holding Standard Chartered Priority Bank Account with Singapore and I also opened Standard Chartered NRI Priority Bank Account in India.
Now my RM in India is telling me that I need to maintain min 30 lacs in account otherwise they will deduct penalty.
As I didn't liked services and application of SC India . I am not planning to put more money in the account.
Please let me know in worst case , can we lower down the account from Priority to other normal NRI account and if not can account be closed after 4 months of opening account..?

You can ask your RM to degrade the account. Mostly he will just give you excuses. The other solution is that you should close the account by getting in contact with some manager or submitting a form
