Stick with Old or Try New?

My first-year bike insurance is about to expire tomorrow. After some research, I found a few insurance companies, such as HDFC Ergo and ICICI, thanks to Bekifaayati. However, I’ve heard it’s better to continue with the same insurance company my bike currently has (Bajaj Bike via Liberty) because it’s easier to claim offline.

I would appreciate some advice, as this is a new experience for me.

The claim process is always a hassle, so it is better to choose the option that is priced lower.

Claim process is always a headache, so select a company that has a lower premium but also see what feature/benefit the policy is offering

You're absolutely right — continuing with the same insurer (Liberty General Insurance) can sometimes make the claim process a bit smoother, especially if they have a strong offline presence in your area.
However, switching to companies like HDFC Ergo or ICICI Lombard is also a great option — they offer robust digital support, wider cashless networks, and quick claim settlements.
🛡️ My advice? Choose the insurer that gives you the best balance of premium, coverage, and service quality — not just who you were with before.

If you need a quick premium comparison or quote, feel free to DM me — I’d be happy to help! 👍
