Suggestion to get a better option for health insurance

Hello everyone!
I'm going to be 18 in next 2 months and planning to get a health insurance for me and my mother from next year. She is 44 now. I want a good coverage.
Also I want to mention that my father did a Star Health Optima Family Plan and unfortunately he died on August and the total benifit nominated to my mother, should I continue that or choose a new one which considered to me as the mail proposer here and my mother is included.
Also for after 10 years I will add my spouse there in that plan, so if there is any suggestions for me please let me know, it will be very helpful for me.

If you have enough money to buy separate plans for both you and your mom, then that will sound more economically. Because she's 44 and you're 18 currently, so the premium and risk will be associated with your mom. That's why your premium will be considered with your mom's risk and age.
So it will be better if you take separate plans and for future, you can add your spouse in your plan.

It will be a better choice for you, if you buy a separate health insurance for your mom and yourself. It may cost you a little extra based on the health conditions of your mom, but it will benefit you the most in times of need. and as you want to add your spouse in the plan, than you can also do that. Also remember that health insurance premiums depends on age factor and any pre-associated health condition.
