Three steps to do:

1st reach out to the issued bank through calls or mails or in person and request for a "No Dues Certificate" or a similar document from the bank confirming that your account is closed and there are no pending dues.

2nd if no resolution then go to dispute center in the CIBIL website and raise a complaint with the supporting document you get from the bank


Point to be noted if didn't get the "No Dues Certificate" or a similar document, then CIBIL will not do any thing.


3rd if bank is not providing the documents or even after submitting the documents CIBIL is not doing the necessary steps then you can lodge a complaint with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) through their Complaint Management System (CMS) portal or by sending a physical or email complaint to the Centralized Receipt and Processing Centre.
