Unable to apply airtel axis card tried 2 times

I tried to apply for Airtel axis card 2 times 3 months apart but was not able to get it
I do need the card as I am an active airtel black customer
I don't have a Axis bank account but I have a good cibil score 750+
I was planning to get a FD is it a good idea to get a Axis Bank fd to get the card I only need it for utilises and bill payments is to possible to do a FD for 5 to 10k

I understand your pain, as a Amazon Prime user for over a year I still didn't got an invite to apply for Amazon pay icici credit card.

I got my Airtel axis card 2 years ago at 780 cibil on pre approved without having Airtel payments Bank account or Axis Bank account and I only had 1 credit card which I was using for about a year at that time. I got the pre approved offer after using Airtel thanks app for over a year. I didn't even knew there was an Airtel credit card at that time.

Getting an FD with axis bank will not guarantee the issuance of Airtel card. The best steps are as follows :

Path 1 : Use Airtel Thanks app for all the bill payments, If you have a credit card use it on Airtel Thanks app if not then use UPI. You'll get pre approved offer in 6-12 months

Path 2 : Apply for other axis bank cards and use it frequently and you'll get pre approved for Airtel card

Path 3 : Wait for a few months and reapply through Airtel Thanks app


Note : Make sure you are logged in, in Airtel Thanks app and keep your enquiries as low as possible.

there is no fd option to airtel axis either you get from airtel app or axis app for axis you should have a existing card and good relationship with bank

there is no fd option to airtel axis either you get from airtel app or axis app for axis you should have a existing card and good relationship with bank

Axis Neo Rupay card just to start use only for bill payments, 10% off categories only not great card for other spends

I applied for Airtel Axis twice before and it was instantly rejected then I got Axis Neo in July this year with 27K limit and after 3 months applied for Airtel Axis CC from mobile app and it was instantly approved with merged limit.
Then also got limit increase on the basis of income proof.
