Unsure on how to start investment journey

I want start start mutual fund with a monthly SIP of 10000, in large, mid and small cap in ratio of 3:3:4, but I am unsure which fund should I choose and through which platform.

Hello , mayur here i am a mutual fund distributor. I have being working with 2 big national distributor ( Prudent & NJ Wealth )
For Large Cap Fund : - Icici Pru. Bluechip Fund/ Nippon India Large Cap
For Mid Cap :- Edelweiss Mid Cap / Motilal Midcap
For Small Cap :- Nippon Small Cap/ Tata Small Fund

All these fund have good track record with good sizable AUM

Large Cap Funds (30% - ₹3,000/month):

• Axis Bluechip Fund
• Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund

Mid Cap Funds (30% - ₹3,000/month):

• Kotak Emerging Equity Fund
• DSP Midcap Fund

Small Cap Funds (40% - ₹4,000/month):

• Nippon India Small Cap Fund

Groww, Zerodha Coin, or Kuvera allow investments with no additional commission.

@Mohit123garg Your ratio seems skewed towards Mid and small cap stocks. Although they can generate higher returns on a long-term basis, but they can be quite volatile during the short term, especially this year. Hence doing your risk assessment can help you understand your risk appetite and choosing an asset allocation suitable to you. You can find lots of tools online for doing the same.

Now, coming to funds, each Mutual fund distributor or investor would choose specific funds based on their investment style and belief. And there are lots of recommendation available in multiple platforms. However, if you are new to this investment journey, or not sure about it, I would recommend consulting a Mutual fund distributor.
