what all to consider before buying health insurance | Health Insurance life hack

There are many factors to consider before buying health insurance. Here are some of the most important ones:

  • Your current health: If you have any pre-existing conditions, you will need to make sure that the health insurance plan you choose covers them.
  • Your budget: Health insurance premiums can vary widely, so it is important to find a plan that fits your budget.
  • The coverage you need: Consider what kind of coverage you need, such as hospitalization, surgery, and outpatient care.
  • The deductible and copays: These are the amounts you will have to pay out of pocket before the insurance company starts to cover your costs.
  • The waiting period: This is the time you must wait before the insurance company will start covering your claims.
  • The claim settlement process: Make sure you understand how claims are processed and how long it takes to get reimbursed.
  • The reputation of the insurance company: Do some research to make sure you are choosing a reputable insurance company.
Here are some additional tips for buying health insurance:

  • Compare quotes from different insurance companies.
  • Read the policy carefully before you sign it.
  • Ask questions if you don't understand something.
  • Make sure you are comfortable with the insurance company's customer service.

Also few more points
1. Check claim settlement ratio by amount of Companies
2. don't opt for phone verificationI, nstead go for PHYSICAL TEST AT HOME
3. Check the nearest hospitals are covered there.

It would be really difficult to say as everyone has different experience with every company. But from my experience I can say that Tata AIG & HDFC Ergo are good
