What is the difference between Rolling Returns and XIRR in Mutual Funds? What is the actual returns that we get from investing in Mutual Funds?

Can someone please elaborate on this?

XIRR is used to like calculate the annualized return of mutual funds. I have seen it in Zerodha but can't explaining it with an example
