Hey Neeraj!

It’s awesome that you’re planning for your baby girl’s future! While mutual funds are a great option, I’d also suggest looking into some safe and secure instruments like the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) and the NPS Vatsalya scheme. By combining these comparatively safer instruments with your existing mutual fund investments, you can create a well-rounded portfolio that balances growth and security for your baby girl’s future. Then consider adding some Flexicap & Midcap Funds.

BTW do you have Term Insurance & Health Insurance? If not then first get them ASAP before doing any investment.

Pro Tip: Consider Diversifying your child's investment portfolio with US Equity Investments via SIPs. ✌️

Note: This is not an Investment advice, make your final decision based on your own Risk Appetite and DYOR. 🤗

Good Luck Super Daddy 🥳

Vested you won't get MFs.. Only direct US Stocks / ETFs.. So for direct US Stocks U can use Vested / Interactive Brokers / IND Money

Indmoney/ET Money / Groww have international mf options.. BUT.. remember.. RBI guidelines are restricted.. so many MFs just stop US MFs frequently because some limit gets exhausted.. so.. be ready for regular disruptions.. eg. Now as we spk all US MFs have stopped taking SIPs

You can increase SIP amount in both the fund with step-up SIP, which will add significant return in your MF portfolio.

You can choose between INDmoney and Vested app based on your needs, as both are great options. ✌️

Personally, I’ve been using INDmoney for US investments and tracking all my investments, bank accounts, and credit cards for over 4 years. I’ve had a smooth experience overall, except for one instance when INDmoney switched its banking partner from SBM Bank to Federal Bank. This change added an unnecessary bank account to my portfolio, which took almost a month to close permanently. At that time, SBM Bank’s customer service was a bit unhelpful towards INDmoney users.

Watch some YT videos for understanding the Pros & Cons of each app thus finding the perfect one matching with your Investment strategy. 🤗

So investment in US stock isn't worth it..?

Yes, even if your PPF contributions are sufficient for tax deductions, you should still consider investing in SSY because SSY not only provides tax deductions under Section 80C but also ensures that the entire maturity amount is tax-free, which is a unique benefit compared to other investments. 🤗

I don't need MF option for US stock market investment, I need to invest in direct US stocks.

So for direct US stock investment INDmoney is a good option for you, can you please tell me while investing in US stock market through INDmoney for investing in Indian stock market through MFs should I choose other option like Coin, Groww, Kuvera etc or going with only one platform i.e. INDmoney is better ?

For me, yes, INDmoney is one of the best apps. As mentioned earlier, it’s my primary app for all my US investments and SIPs in Indian mutual funds. Additionally, it provides a smooth experience when it comes to tracking my overall investment portfolio.

For transparency, I also use AngelOne for all other investments in Indian equity options except mutual funds. It was my first app, and I’m so used to it that it restricts me from shifting to INDmoney primarily. Additionally, I operate Groww, Upstox, and Dhan for my family members. (Upstox app is the worst as per my personal experiences)

In today’s fast-paced Internet era, it’s hard to predict which app will be the best for long-term commitments. However, if I were in your situation, with my current knowledge and experience, I would take the risk and choose a single, all-in-one new-age app like INDmoney. This way, you can manage all your investments in one place instead of juggling multiple apps for different purposes. Plus, many of these investments are backed by government entities, adding an extra layer of security.

Before making a decision, I recommend conducting thorough research, comparing different platforms to determine the most suitable investment app for your specific circumstances. By carefully evaluating these factors, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your long-term financial goals and maximizes your investment potential. 🤗
