New private banks will not have many branches as they rely more on digital banking channels.
The older ones like HDFC, ICICI have Basic zero balance Savings account options that you can choose. But zero balance account come with restrictions like limited amount of free atm transactions, basic debit card etc. So you can look at these banks and compare your options.

If you are student, then go for idfc future first savings account, otherwise if you are earning person and age is between 18 to 25 years and if you can afford 5k MAB then you should go for hdfc youth savings account.

Other options are:
- AU small finance bank
- Sbi digital savings account
- Indusind Digi delite savings account
- Bank of Baroda BOB BRO account
- all payment banks including Paytm, airtel, jio, nsdl, Indian post etc.
