Question:
I have watched several YouTube videos where people applied for the OneCard app, and it showed whether they were eligible for a secured or unsecured credit card before they actually submitted the application.
My concern is:
If I install the OneCard app and check my eligibility, and it shows that I’m only eligible for a secured (FD-backed) credit card, I will not proceed with the application.
So, my question is:
Does OneCard perform a hard enquiry (impacting CIBIL score) before showing eligibility for a secured or unsecured card? Or is the hard enquiry only done after I proceed with the application?
I have the same question regarding the Kiwi credit card.
Does Kiwi perform a hard enquiry before showing eligibility, or only after the user confirms the application?
Please explain this clearly.
