It depends upon a lot of things like-
- Your annual income.
- the amount of coverage you require.
- If you have some existing loan going on.
- You are a smoker or not?

According to my recent research TATA AIA I selected for myself you can also go with a similar option. It has an inbuilt critical illness rider and I think is one of the best in the market today.

Best term plans are provided by lot of providers in the market.
If you look for private companies then Tata AIA has best plans also it has high claim settlement and claim amount ratio.
If you look for Govt owned then LIC has also introduced its term plan which is also good. But don't apply through agents as they may ask you to take investment plan along with also.
online application is also available at LIC Portal where you can apply for pure term plan.
