HDFC Rejecting Any Credit Card

I have applied for HDFC Swiggy Card on October and it showed "we don't have any offer for you" when I approched customer support for the reason, they suggested me to apply through branch and there also after submitting all documents noting happend not even a rejected mail came. And Today when I tried to apply Pixel Play Card it showed we can't process your request as per bank norms.

Note :
Salary: 40k
Cibil : 790+
Other Credit Bureaus (CRIF,Experian,Equifax) : 830+
Credit Cards : Amazon ICICI, Axis Indian Oil
Don't have a HDFC bank Account

why I am unable to process my application can anyone tell me or I should reach to ombudsman for Making unnecessary enquiry and daming my cibil score after having all eligibility criteria as mentioned in their documentation.

Eligibility criteria merely indicate who can apply. There are numerous other criteria to be met for card approval.

Regarding unnecessary inquiries: If you have applied for a credit card, a CIBIL inquiry is mandatory. It would be the bank's mistake if they conducted multiple inquiries for a single application. If you applied for different cards, there would be separate inquiries. You cannot file a complaint with the Ombudsman for a card rejection. The bank will provide a reason or simply state that due to internal policies, they couldn't issue the card and will close the case.

A minimum gap of six months between applications is required. If you continue to apply, your applications will be rejected as your previous card application is still active.

Are you able to re-apply within 3 month or did you apply second attempt after three months?

What I know once it rejected we should apply after three months.

I have Tried with 3 months but the issue is that they are neither Rejecting the applucation nor accepting the application, just making enquiry even after Branch Visit.

But they are Not even Rejhecting the application. I haven't even received a mail of applying the card and it got rejected they are just hangibg me in between. and me some way so that I can Avail that card as It has 5% cashback on Flipkart being an LTF card which Axis Flipkart is not.

Try applying through third party apps like Swiggy app, Paytm, Tata Neu.
I don't think it will help as Branch Processing Manager unable to Apply it as i have not reveiced any mail and when I called him, he just told me that Reffernce no. isnt generated yet

I am feelling that they are only providing LTF cards only to the customers of the bank as my brother got the same varient of the card with an Income Less than 25K per month withou any card and Cibil less than 750. Worst Malpractice by the Bank

I currently have three HDFC cards. When I obtained my first card, the process was entirely offline, and I received a limit of ₹84,000. At that time, my other bank cards had a limit of ₹2.5 lakhs, and now four of my other bank cards have limits exceeding ₹3 lakhs. However, HDFC has remained at an ₹84,000 limit. Despite numerous submissions of income documents, they have not increased the limit.

HDFC Bank can be quite frustrating and unpredictable due to the large number of employees. The outcome often depends on who processes the application; some employees are customer-centric while others reject every application and service request.

As a result, all three of my HDFC cards still have an ₹84,000 cobmined limit. When I use them, the utilization ratio exceeds 60%, which negatively impacts my CIBIL score. HDFC Bank refuses to increase the limit, making it one of the worst banks in certain situations.

if the limit on your brother's card is high consider taking add on card from his account on your name and use it.

thanks for this suggestion, but can you please tell me that by doing this who will have to pay the bill in whose card statement the cashback will add or this will be seperate totally but cibil will reflect on him.

Inspite of good service for these reasons and I dont like HDFC and thats why I dont have any account there

CIBIL will be on him, but benefits could be combined like 1500 CB could be same for both cards should enquire HDFC CC once.

The most shocking part for me in this apply is that even applying from Branch, the reference number was not generated at all.
