Rs. 5000+ per calendar quarter in order to avail this benefit in the following calendar quarter.

I will eligible in 2nd quarter ie. April -jun If I spend Rs.5000+ in a 1st quarter of the year ie.Jan - mar Correct?

Yes, and please verify the spend criteria it was 5000 when I got that card. Recently in few mails came I don't remember if it from ICICI, the spend criteria increased to 35k I'm not able to remember if its ICICI or some other card.

As of now none of their cards are the best.
IDFC Power Plus can be considered, but with fees of 590 and reward redemption fee I don't even consider that card the best.
