How can I pay insurance payment without paying additional convinience charges? Any hack? I tried doing through insurance Company’s website but they are charging convenience fees.
Buy Amazon gift card (not shopping card) using HDFC from hdfc Smartbuy portal if it works out beneficial to you else use Tata Neu App. Use the gift card to load Amazon Pay balance. As I see Star Health is listed in Amazon as one of the insurer. If you pay entire premium using Amazon Pay there should be no charges. However, first check in Amazon if it is showing any charges on UPI option for Star Health. If not, then there should not be any charges for APay either ideally.
If you have Amazon ICICI card the use that directly on amazon to get 2% cashback.

Looks like you did not read the issue. The issue is on the insured's website now there are convenience charges on Credit Card. Acceptance was never a problem, the extra charges were. Most of the cards don't given any reward points or lower reward points for insurance payments. Anyway the issue was raised many months back and the solution which was working at that time was given which may not be appropriate now
