Investment and good return

It depends on your risk profile.
1. If you don't want to take risks, you can invest in parts (each less than 5 lakhs) in FDs of private banks for a 7% - 9% return.
2. If you can take moderate risks, you should invest it in Mutual Funds.

Which Bank I should go for to put FD to get the highest interest ?
Well, it varies from bank to bank based on the tenure of FD like 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years etc.

Generally, small finance banks offer a higher interest rate on FD.
Unity Small Finance Bank: Upto 9%
Fincare SFB and Shivalik SFB: Upto 8.6%

Note: RBI insures FD up to 5 lakhs in all the banks. This includes both principal and interest amounts.
