Hi myself harsh I want to clarify about ppf account
Should I open my ppf account in bank or in post office and best time to open ppf account and if I open my ppf account in bank then my money is controlled by bank or by government and if the bank collapse then what will happen to my ppf account
I will get my full amount back or not . Plz clarrify

Yes, it is 100% safe.
PPF is backed by the Indian government and the banks are just a medium to invest.

I have opened a PPF account in HDFC bank as I can easily deposit money to that account online. You may search for a similar bank that has a seamless experience.
