Thailand scraps visa requirement for Indian travellers

Thailand is set to waive visa requirements for travellers from India and Taiwan, starting next month and continuing until May 2024. The move aims to attract more tourists, particularly as the high tourism season approaches.

Seems like their economy hasn't recovered fully. Tourism is one of the major drivers of their economy, contributing ~18-20% of the GDP. Scrapping Visa for Indians will surely give Tourism a boost (and to their GDP)
