Credit Utilisation limit related help

Hi everyone,

I have a **FD-backed credit card** from **SuperMoney** with a credit limit of **₹4,500**, and my **statement/bill generation date is the 1st of every month**.

I activated the card on **June 10th**, so my **first bill will be generated on 1st July 2025**.

Now, I have a few questions regarding **credit utilization and reporting**:

Let’s say I spend around **₹3,000** before the statement date, which is more than 30% of the credit limit. But then, before the **1st July statement**, I **prepay ₹2,500** out of that amount.

So, by the time the bill is generated on 1st July, the **outstanding balance will be ₹500**.

In this case:

1. Will the **credit utilization** reported to CIBIL/credit bureaus be based on the **₹500 balance** (i.e., \~11%) that appears in the statement?
2. Or will it be based on my **actual spending of ₹3,000** during the month (i.e., \~66%) even though I prepaid most of it before the bill date?

I’m asking this to understand how utilization is calculated and **reported to credit bureaus**, especially under the new RBI rule of **fortnightly (15-day) reporting**.

Based on outstanding at the time of reporting.
Most banks report to ClBIL twice a month now.
