HDFC Swiggy Credit Card Application Rejected: Contact Point Verification Issue

I applied for the HDFC Swiggy Credit Card, and the KYC process seemed to go smoothly. A representative visited my home for verification, and I even received a follow-up call from HDFC to confirm if someone had visited my residence and whether they asked for money.

However, shortly after, I received an email stating:
"We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to proceed with your application no. 24J24D81069190W7. The reason is that we encountered a challenge while verifying and validating your identity through our Contact Point Verification process."

I’m confused because I believe I provided all the correct details for verification. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? What should I do next to resolve this?

All you can do now is wait for six months and then reapply. If you try to apply again within this period, your application will be rejected as your last application is less than six months old. Additionally, it will create a hard inquiry in your CIBIL report, negatively affecting your credit score.

I got Swiggy card (Oct 16th) as LTF in this festive offer. Would I be able to apply for tata neu HDFC infinity in the same offer period (dec 30 or 31st)
As per tnc of the LTF offer, it is for new customers only. Try your luck through Tata Neu app, check offer there.
