Which credit card is best for beginners: a co-branded card or a core bank card?

If i use my "Amazon ICICI Credit card" on someone else's Amazon Prime account, will i get 5% Cashback or 3% Cashback. Or does it have to be our own account to get any cashback on Amazon.
